Not your Standard PE & Health!

With Study abroad experience in New Zealand, involvement in the PE club, exercise science club, varsity athletics, and many other activities add to the spectrum of knowledge that will aid in teaching my students.

In School and After School Gymnastics!

With a gymnastics background and students loving gymnastics in PE class, I decided to offer a class outside of school as well. With an average of 65 students per week for 6 months we learned many new skills and had a blast along the way!

Rock Climbing in New Zealand!

This picturesque landscape is just one of the places I have learned to rock climb, play cricket, field hockey and rugby. More importantly, I learned a new culture and experienced a different way of life.

Being a wrestling coach for 3 years, I was able to volunteer as a referee during a meet at Washington Academy. Community involvement is a must.

Fly fishing in physical education class!

This was the first L.L. Bean sponsored fly fishing class brought to a high school in Maine!

Being involved in the exercise science club and a team captain of the Saginaw Valley State Track and field team, I was able to actively put into practice what I was learning.

As an administration member of the Saginaw Valley State Physical Education Club, I helped organize a Special Olympics event, weight loss program, wheel chair rugby tournament and helped develop ways to integrate all the athletic teams together.
